Why are we prone to sabotage love and what kind of partner should we be with? Contrary to what Disney has taught us, Love is not just a feeling, it is a skill! Join us on our week long pilgrimage to the fascinating city of Tel-Aviv. We'll spend the week investigating ourselves and gaining the necessary tools to navigate relationships and love. We will enjoying city-side beaches, cool cafe's and killer clubs. Our trip to Israel captures the very best of this exciting city whilst learning how to love, communicate and flourish.

Choosing a life-partner can be one of the trickiest decisions we will ever make. We are expected to follow our feelings, and locate people according to our intuition. And yet, our emotions cannot always be trusted; and they often lead us to problematic characters that repeat patterns of suffering. We once relied on parents and society to find partners for us, however, the process and responsibility has now been handed over to us. In many cases, our frantic pursuit leads to complications. Fortunately, there are practical ideas we can engage with to understand our needs and find long-lasting love.

We live in a culture that talks a lot about finding love - but far less about the next part of the puzzle, making the love we have last. This workshop will provide a toolkit of skills for ensuring the health and vibrancy of a relationship over the long term.
We will learn together about Communication, Compassion, Listening, Playfulness and Diplomacy. Most of all, we will understand that it isn’t a sign of failure that we have ended up here; it’s a proof of commitment. We will learn that love is not simply an emotion to be felt, it is a skill to be learnt.

How to Make Love Last teaches us:
We are often so aware of what is missing from our lives that we fail to pause and notice what has already gone right or not yet gone wrong. We see so much every day without properly noticing it; we are so good at letting our ambitions for the future rob us of the joys of the present.
Become better at discovering and drawing value from the wonders that are already to hand. Learn how properly to live rather than simply going through the motions. Along the way, we learn to connect, to take joy in the sky, to feel less guilty about enjoying the good times - and to remember what we can legitimately smile about, even in the most challenging of eras.

How to Enjoy Life teaches us:
There is a common misconception that confidence is an inborn personality trait – that we are either born confident or not. But on the contrary, we strongly believe that confidence is a skill which can be learned and practiced.
The fastest route to confidence is to realise that all of us struggle with feelings of shame and with a sense of being an impostor; that all of us are deeply foolish and constantly anxious - and that therefore many of our worries, far from being grounds for giving up on ourselves, confirm that we are entirely normal, and as worthy of success as anyone else.
How to Be Confident teaches us:
Nicknamed the “Big Orange” for its 24-hour lifestyle reminiscent of the Big Apple, this hedonistic bubble is best known for its thriving and diverse nightlife. Its pleasure domes range from the underground clubs around tree-lined Rothschild Boulevard to the bars of chic Neve Tzedek and alternative spots in the bohemian quarter of Florentin. The Gan HaHashmal, meanwhile, houses a growing community of artictic types. But when the party dust settles, Tel Aviv’s modern high-rise towers and Unesco-designated White City area (with the world’s highest concentration of unique Bauhaus-style buildings) re-emerge by day, shining brightly under a nearly year-round sun. Fringed by the Mediterranean on the western central coast of Israel, and sitting at the mouth of the meandering Yarkon river, Tel Aviv is home to 13 beaches scattered with young, cool and laid-back locals. From cyclists, joggers and dog walkers on the promenade to sunbathers and surfers on the beach, residents of Israel’s second city give it a Californian coastal vibe.

The closest airport is Ben Gurion Airport (TLV). Selina Neve Tzedek is a 30 minute taxi ride, for 120-200 NIS. Alternately, walk to the bus station to take bus 445 (towards Reading bus terminal). Get off at "Yehuda Halevi/ Nahalat Binyamin station" and walk 500 m to 61 Eilat st. You can also take the train to Tel Aviv- HaShalom station, take bus 40/240 (for nine stops) to get off at Eilat/Shlush station; or bus number 83/1/42/44 (10 stops) get off at Shlomo Road/Elifelet, then walk 8 minutes (600 m).
From Tel Aviv central bus station: bus number 41, 7 min by bike, 17 min on foot. From Tel Aviv - Savidor Center train station: bus number 40/ 240, 23 min by bike. From Tel Aviv - Ha'Hagana train station: bus number 41, 23 min walk, 11 min by bike. From Tel Aviv HaShalom train station: bus number 40/ 240, 23 min by bike. Take a taxi to Selina from the central bus terminal/train station: 50 NIS.
